Ray Revell Offy # 1 runs outside American Dick "Jet' Brown Offy # 5 at The Royale. Brown revived the American touring drivers to Australia in the early to mid 1950s. Young Sydney ace, Bill Shevill was to be offered a drive in Offy # 5 when Brown returned to the States , but Bill was put into the Pit wall head first in 1956 and never raced midgets again.
Sel Payne # 20 runs ahead of Frank 'Satan' Brewer in # 99 at the Sydney Sports Ground Speedway . Circa 1950
