The Reece Discombe Ford V860 - New Zealand # 35
New Zealander , Reece Discombe built # 35 along the lines of the Perry Grimm #65 V860 which toured Australia in the late 1940s.
Reece runs # NZ35 through Pit turn at the Sydney Showground in front of Aussie legend Ray Revell in Offy Aust. # 1

1953/4 - Johnny Peers buys #60 and runs the V860 as NSW # 12  (Tempe Auto Spares).
c1952/3 - Top Sydney Sidecar rider, Bert Martin took over the V860 from Reece Discombe and ran it as NSW # 60

1957 - The car goes North to Queensland and Kev Jefferson, up and coming young star driver, runs it as Q60. Later, ( 1959) the car is acquired by the Mulcahy Bros and an ex Steve Howman Studebaker  6 SV engine is fitted to Q60 for Jefferson.
1961 - Mulcahy Bros.  fit a REPCO Holden engine to Q60.
c 1962 Jefferson in Q60 runs outside Bill Goode in the Falcon Q5. 
Kev Jefferson lost his life in the car at the Brisbane Ekka on
 11th. May 1963.
Some parts of Q60 still exist in Queensland.
Reece Discombe moved to Vanuatu and ran a Marine Salvage business. He passed away in Noumea in 2007.
